Nails Handling Instruction

Please read this manual carefully before using Jewelry Fingertips.

Jewelry Fingertips

Keep Jewelry Fingertips out of reach of children. Use with caution near high heat or flame such as a hair dryer or lighter while wearing Jewelry Fingertips chips.

HOW TO PUT ON JEWELRY FINGERTIPS

  1.  Place Jewelry Fingertips chips directly onto your bare nails.

  2.  Before applying chips, your nails must be clean and free from nail polish, oil and dirt.

  3.  Use the illustrated guide to choose from among the chips provided and find those that fit well onto your own nails

(size in mm). Refer to nail charts.

Each set comes with either 12 or 14 chips.

When a chip is too wide or too long, you can make it fit better by using a nail file.

When doing so, make sure no nail powder gets stuck on the glue area on the back of the nail chips.

If this happens, you may use the

Revival agent (sold separately) for added sticking power.

  4.  After selecting the appropriate nail chips, place the chip carefully onto each of your nails so that it lines up with the cuticle.

Press firmly on the nails when you are sure of the position.

  5.  If the curve of the nail chip doesn't match well with the curve of your own nail, you may use the Magic Adhesive for a better

       fit (sold separately)

HOW TO REMOVE JEWELRY FINGERTIPS

1.  To remove Jewelry Fingertips hold the tip of the chip while pressing down on the bottom part of the chip.

Pull the tip up slowly. If the chip doesn’t separate from your nail, try sliding the chip forward away from your nail.

2.  Slowly remove the chip by holding just the tip and pulling upward (about 30 degree angle).

Use extra care not to leave any adhesive on your nail.

In terms of thickness, Jewelry Fingertips is designed to fit well along the cuticle, the tip being thicker than the base.

Note: Do not pull the chip strongly from the side or lift the tip from cuticle area instead of from the tip.

     This might break the chip.

When the heat from your fingers warms the adhesive, the adhesive is likely to clump and stick to your nail.

To avoid this, remove the chip from your nail as slowly and gently as possible.

RESTORING THE ADHESIVENESS

This will not affect the quality of the chips.

  1. Use Revival touch-up agent when the original glue loses its effectiveness due to prior use or because of dust/on the glue area.

  2. Do not remove the existing glue (Magic Adhesive) from the nail chip. Just put one or two coats of Revival Agent over the Magic Adhesive for added adhesion.

  3. Let the Revival Agent dry for approximately 30 minutes. The white Revival Agent will turn clear when dry.

  4. Use of Revival Agent will restore the adhesiveness on the nail chip to its original strength. You can use the Revival Agent repeatedly.

  5. It is recommended to apply Revival Agent after every use to prepare the nail chips for their next use.

Note: Revival Agent is not a glue but a touch-up adhesive. If' the original glue (Magic Adhesive) is removed,

Revival will not act as a replacement.

If you accidentally remove the original glue, use the Magic Adhesive to replace it (designed for Jewelry Fingertips, sold separately).

NAIL CARE

  1. The nail chips of Jewelry Fingertips may come off easily when exposed to excessive water. Remove chips before showering or washing dishes. Should the nail chip get wet and come loose, remove it from your nail and air dry it completely before using it again. Use Revival Agent when necessary to strengthen the adhesive.

  2. Jewelry Fingertips chips do not adhere well when exposed to oil. Remove oil such as hand cream or nail oil from your nails before applying nail chips.

  3. Remove any adhesive remaining on your nails after removing the chips using soap or nail polish remover.

  4. To clean the chip surface, use scotch tape to remove dirt.

  5. During regular use, the adhesive area may become dirty or may even come off.Use tweezers to remove any dirt or residue.

  6. If a decorative stone or some other part should fall off the nail chip, put a small amount of topcoat on the affected area and reattach the stone or other parts. Allow a few minutes for the topcoat to dry, then apply another layer of topcoat to the entire nail chip. If necessary, superglue may be used for a stronger bond

  7. When wearing leather gloves. fuzzy leather may stick to the adhesive area or colored leather may stain the nail chip. If this should happen, the stain cannot be removed.
